EVO Coal Crane

EVO’s Dockside Crane in Offenbach was equipped with 378 Traxon Monochrome Cold White Tubes, integrating around 36,000 LEDs. A software for superimposing simple graphical shapes on the structure was implemented and a vvvv-based mapping algorithm allowed an easy control of all LEDs.

The project was opened during the Luminale 2010 and is on permanent display since then every day after sunset.

I Worked on this project during my internship at MESO Digital Interiors GmbH.
